You can minimize your risk of pantry pests entering your kitchen by following the guidelines below:
1- Inspect your dried food products after purchase, especially items such as pet foods, flour, rice and other bulk items.
2- Return any infested foods you find for a refund.
Immediately transfer dried foods to glass or plastic containers with tight-fitting lids. This will help prevent the spreading of an infestation to other foods.
If an infestation of pantry pests is detected, all food items should be inspected  for the presence of insects.
3- Discard all infested food items. Foods suspected of being infested may be frozen for 6 days at zero degrees Fahrenheit, then stored in glass or plastic containers.
4- Thoroughly vacuum and clean the areas where an infestation was found.  Eagle Eye Service Professional may need to apply treatments to cracks and voids
where the infested food items were stored.
